STREAM merges the sounds and music created by the San Antonio community with the flow of the San Pedro Creek. It transforms a 250 foot waterfall into a monumental, live sound visualizer. An accurate bronze cast replica of an iconic 1940's standup microphone is installed next to the creek in the new San Pedro Creek Culture Park. Visitors can make any noise they like into the mic; clapping, singing, yelling, live music from any instrument, music playing from a phone, or just simply talking. The installation turns all these sounds into a dynamic, reactive light show in real time. STREAM is always active and never the same twice.
